Media plan

The Media plan (/media-plan in the nav rail) shows your campaigns as bars on a calendar timeline — one lane per campaign, coloured by status, so you can see at a glance what runs when and where the gaps are.

Each campaign is a horizontal bar on its own lane, positioned by its start and end dates. The bar’s colour is the campaign’s status — the same palette as the campaign statuses:

Bar colour Status
Green Active
Blue Planned (scheduled)
Amber On pause

A vertical now playhead marks the present moment across every lane. An open-ended campaign (no end date) runs to the right edge of the window with an ∞ marker.

The toolbar controls the window:

  • Period dropdown — zoom the timeline to Day, Week, Month, Quarter, or Year.
  • Date chip — click it to open a date picker and re-anchor the window on a chosen day.
  • / — shift the window one period back or forward.
  • Now — re-centre on the present and re-sync to the server clock.

The sort dropdown orders the lanes: By start date, By status, or By name.

The Filter button opens a sheet that narrows the plan to campaigns playing on the screens you care about. It has:

  • a device multi-select (with a search box),
  • a tag multi-select, and
  • a Union / Intersection control.

The mode decides how the two lists combine:

  • Union keeps every campaign shown on any chosen screen or on any screen carrying a chosen tag.
  • Intersection keeps only campaigns shown on a chosen screen and on a screen with a chosen tag.

An empty filter shows the whole plan. Apply narrows the timeline; Reset clears it.

Click a bar to select its campaign. The panel on the right shows that campaign’s detail — the same view as the campaign detail page, including its Preview button. The panel header has three actions:

  • Open campaign — go to the full campaign page (/campaigns/{id}).
  • Copy link — copy a shareable link to the campaign.
  • Close — clear the selection and return to the empty panel.

The + Campaign button starts a new campaign with the same create flow as the Campaigns screen — a quick way to fill a gap you spot on the timeline.
