Launch your first campaign

This recipe takes you from a brand-new workspace to content playing on a real screen. Follow the steps in order.

1. Start your free trial. Open Plans from the navigation rail and press Start free trial. The trial gives you 3 device licenses and 20 GB of storage for 14 days, with no card required.

2. Add your screen. Open Devices, press Add device, name it “Chorsu Plaza — Lobby”, and press Generate code. A one-time pairing code appears.

3. Connect the screen. On the Android device, open the Media24 Player and enter the pairing code. Within a few seconds the screen appears in your Devices list as connected. See Connect a screen.

4. Upload a file. Open Content, press Add content, and upload a file named “Promo Aromat 30s”. It processes and becomes ready to publish.

5. Create the campaign. Open Campaigns, press + Campaign, choose Video playlist, and name it “Promo Aromat — Lobby”. The campaign editor opens.

6. Add the file to the zone. In the editor’s Create content step, press Add → From content storage, tick “Promo Aromat 30s”, and press Apply.

7. Choose the screen. In the Choose places step, press Parameters and tick “Chorsu Plaza — Lobby”. Leave the schedule unlimited (the default).

   

   Step 7 — choose the screen to play on

   

8. Press START. In the Launch campaign step, press START. The campaign publishes and its status becomes active.

   

   Step 8 — press START to publish

   

9. Watch it play. Within about 30 seconds the screen downloads the campaign and starts playing. On the Dashboard, the delivery funnel’s Downloaded and Playback verified counters move up.

Note

Publishing needs an active subscription or the free trial — that is why step 1 comes first. On a fresh workspace with no trial, pressing START is blocked with “No targeted device has an active subscription.”
